Jenny Foster

Jenny Foster
Silver Fish Gallery has several of Jenny's paintings on display in our Eureka, Montana Gallery.

Jenny Foster is an Arizona native whose work is strongly influenced by the rich colors and distinct imagery of the American Southwest.

Growing up along the Colorado River where relics from America’s first inhabitants are plentiful, Jenny sketched the petroglyphs she found on canyon walls, on pottery shards, and along ancient trails. The simple beauty of those designs and symbols is clearly evident in the artwork that Jenny is creating today. Primitive, contemporary, and delightfully whimsical, her art often features animals as primary subjects and are boldly embellished with joyful colors.

Jenny Foster studied Fine Arts at Arizona State University and has worked in the graphic design field for the past 20 years as a designer and art director. She has painted since childhood and has been painting full-time since 1994.
