Statement from the Artist
Jewelry making was not my first career. I had been teaching junior high and college mathemetics when I adopted two children from Colombia. I needed a career with more flexible hours and one that would satisfy my need to be creative. My passion for and love of this business grew along with my children. If you look closely you will see the influence of that early career and of the time spent raising children. My work tends to the classic and geometric, but touches of whimsy creep in. I enjoy every aspect of my craft from the mental energy spent designing to the physical energy of the actual production. I hope you will enjoy wearing my work as much as I enjoy making it.
